Each year, the Florida State Association of Supervisors of Elections (FSASE) invites eligible students to apply for its “Jimmy Whitehouse” Scholarship. Students must be Florida voters enrolled in a Florida university or college. For additional qualifications, see the guidelines and checklist below.
FSASE will award one $1,200.00 scholarship in 2013. The deadline to submit applications for the 2013 scholarship was March 18, 2013. Each county's Supervisor will review the applications received at their offices and select one finalist to be sent to the FSASE Scholarship Committee. The committee will announce the scholarship recipient at the FSASE Summer Conference in June.
For more information, students may contact their local Supervisor of Elections.
